After seeing videos of Ibushi doing crazy street matches, such as this one posted by Manhattan Drop, Kenny wished to attract the attention of DDT and hopefully get a match with Ibushi. He put out a homemade video of his own, claiming HE was the king of the anywhere match, and hoped DDT would see his talent and invite him over to Japan. The match took place in and around his cabin in Canada.
He also puts out this message, challenging Ibushi:
