Kenny arrives in Japan, at the arrangement of DDT. He spends his first few days with Michael Nakazawa, who was assigned as his interpreter and general guide. According to Michael’s blog, he takes quite an immediate liking to Kenny, stating, “even though I am a professional wrestler, I’m a fan of him.”

Kenny’s first Beer Garden day was on August 4.
His first match with DDT is with another Kenny, Kenny Ohka, against HERO! & HERO! They’re the second match of the night at a show produced by HARASHIMA. This would have been his first real chance to display his skills to the DDT audience, and he uses the opportunity to show off his amazing athletic ability, as well as his sense of humor – the match is riddled with in-ring theatrics and general silliness.
