August 27: Kenny participated in the Gure King Cup in Shin-kiba (an area of Kōtō, Tokyo) that was featured on Samurai TV.
More of the event can be viewed here. Kenny apparently entered the ring to the theme of Top Gun for some reason. Maybe they didn’t have his music.

After the event, Nakazawa, Omega and Ibushi all went out to eat, and Michael had this to say regarding the Golden Lovers’ interactions:
As those who watched yesterday’s broadcast will understand, there is no language barrier, and both of them are really good friends. They are about the same age, professional wrestling partners who respect each other, they both like games, they can’t drink alcohol, and they can’t eat spicy food.
He seems to wonder if their fierce street fight from weeks before has bonded them.
August 29: Nakazawa, Omega and Ibushi go out to eat again:
Michael says Kenny has become quite fond of an arcade game called Let’s Go Jungle!
I feel like a stan for including this in the post, but here is a photo Nakazawa posted of some tickets Kenny signed. I thought it was interesting, as it has his old autograph style, and little illustration…
At some point that same day the trio visit the DDT office and meet up with Referee Matsui and they go out for drinks with him. Matsui notes Kenny seems to have learned to get to and from his DDT dorm using the train.
Like Michael, Matsui also notices the telepathic communication style Ibushi and Omega have:
…the way Ibushi and Kenny communicate with each other is very unpleasant.
They communicate with each other with a smile, with few words exchanged.
As Michael states in a 2021 tweet, the Golden Lovers have never needed words to communicate.
