February 3: Michael Nakazawa follows the tag champs to OPG Dojo, acting as Kenny’s interpreter for an interview and photo session. Here are the Golden Lovers, doing a couple cute poses for the camera:

At Sportiva Setsubun Pro Wrestling in Aichi, Omega has a match against Shigehiro Irie that gets a little crazy.

Though the match starts in the ring, they move outside it to play Street Fighter 2. Kenny plays as Ryu. He wins the game.

The match then continues all over the place, with the guys going outside, then back inside, and finally back in the ring:

Kenny wins!

He then goes back to playing more video games, this time against fans. So a pretty solid way to to spend the day for a wrestler/gamer.

February 4: The day after the Irie match, Kenny has a match against Madoka in DDT Boys 3. This is his last show in Japan for several months. 34 men and 182 women were in attendance. [source]

Kenny ends his match by singing a song from Dragon Ball Z. It seems this was requested or required of him to do, though why I’m not sure.

February 10: Non-Fix 2.10. Jun Kasai, Kamui & Kota Ibushi defeat Keisuke IshiiMIKAMI & Sanshiro Takagi

This was a pretty chaotic match that went into the stands a couple times, and ends with Ibushi and Takagi getting into a brawl outside the ring. Ibushi had recently challenged Takagi for his KO-D championship and set up a future match, and it seems things at this point were already heating up between the two men.

Ibushi had his shoulder all taped up for this show.

February 11: Kensuke Sasaki & Kota Ibushi defeat Jun Akiyama & Taiji Ishimori in Tokyo at Kensuke Office Take The Dream Vol. 7.

February 14: Ibushi is in a match at Michinoku Pro, tag teaming with The Great Sasuke against team Kowloon.

February 21: Omega travels to California for PWG Express Written Consent, and a match against fav rival El Generico. The match with these two is goofy, crazy, funny, athletic, and fun as hell. Their humor is so on the same page.

February 22: Into the Fight 2009.

Kota tries for the KO-D Openweight title against Sanshiro Takagi, but is unsuccessful.

February 28: JAPW Jersey City Rumble – Kenny loses the JAPW Heavyweight title to Jay Lethal.

Here’s his post-match interview

Meanwhile in Japan, Ibushi gets in a street fight and moonsaults off a fence:
